Unless you're a total pessimist, it's unlikely that you wake up expecting your life to be turned upside-down by some unwelcome news. When something unthinkable happens, you might be left numb and not know if or how you'll be able to move on. Losing your job can be a very negative emotional experience, bringing up feelings of self-loathing and fear. Work on building up connections and applying for new jobs. A reckless driver, a joke gone wrong, or a freak accident are a few examples of how someone's life can be taken or irrevocably changed. Permanent injuries , as the name suggests, will never go away. Disabilities can also occur from being diagnosed with a chronic illness. You need to adjust to your new reality, Figure out what sort of lifestyle changes you'll need to make with your disability. You won't be able to live the same life as before, but you can still have one with dignity and fulfillment.

Death of a Loved One

Everyone has to say goodbye to the world, but losing a loved one doesn't sting any less. It's especially awful when someone is taken while they're young and in good health. You shouldn't be expected to stop mourning by a certain date. You might always be grieving in some way, but support from friends, family, and counselling groups can help you learn how your pain doesn't always have to feel like permanent heartache.

Sudden change is a test of character, as anyone can talk about being self-determined and courageous when things are stable. You might not want to have to prove yourself through trials and tribulations, but being a human means understanding that there are going to be good times and bad. You can prosper when you realize that the existence of bad times doesn't nullify the existence of good ones.
