Loss can show up in ways we least expect and can complicate other concerns. Maybe you were already gripped by anxiety or depression. Or perhaps you are facing a tough transition, loss of employment, or loss of a relationship. If you are feeling stuck, confused, or overwhelmed for any reason, I am here to help.
I am no stranger to loss. I’ve felt non-death loss of self while my family struggled with my coming out as an LGBTQ2S+ individual and I’ve grieved the sudden traumatic death of a much loved family member. The people who came alongside me in my grief held onto hope when I couldn’t and helped me find a safe place to land. These experiences have helped me provide empathic support to people of all ages who are feeling stuck and need a reset.
Regardless of age or life stage loss is diverse and unique. The journey back to self can be challenging with many confusing emotions.
You don’t have to be alone in this. I'm here to help.
I am a Registered Social Worker in Barrie with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).
