Are you struggling to redefine your identity after a major life change? Are you struggling to connect with yourself or others? Do you feel like there is something missing in your life? Are you experiencing a transition that has left you grieving or lost? Have you lost passion or drive?
I’ve been there. After many years of being a collegiate and professional runner, I retired. I felt a deep sense of loss and didn’t know who I was if I wasn’t an athlete. I struggled to connect with anything the way I did with running. I spent countless years searching for something or someone that would help fill the void running once filled. I continued to feel empty and anxious.
After a long and bumpy journey of self-discovery and self-compassion—along with tremendous success coaching elite NCAA athletes—I chose to become a psychotherapist so I could support those struggling with internal pain, and help others deal with grief and identity.
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario (CRPO) with a Master’s degree in Counselling from the University of Missouri Kansas City. I'm also a Level I Certified Gottman Method Couples Therapist.
I provide counselling services in Barrie to Individual, Family and Couples dealing with:
